Editing Update
After a late change of soundtrack, our group now feel that our opening sequence is complete and we have therefore begun the process of submission.
The filming and editing of our opening sequence has led our group to achieve many accomplishments, aswell as encounter several dilemma's, for example the soundtrack, which has taken a considerable amount of time to complete despite the fact that it seemed complete a couple of days ago.
Our groups editing skills on the programme Final Cut Express has taken large strides forward, with all of us feeling more confident in the usage of the programme, which is positive due to potential future usage of it.

Editing
Our group have recently been able to continue editing our opening sequence, and we hope to have it completed within this week. There are a couple of scenes in which we feel may need to be added after viewing the clips we actually have filmed.
The motives we initially intended to implement of a sense of a depressing atmosphere in order to give a sense of characterization, have been fairly successful and our choice of music seems fairly suitable. Our final choice of music will be posted on here later on.
As you can see from the images, we have been using the final cut express software in order to add editing touches to the opening sequence.
We are currently finding certain things difficult which we feel could add good effect to the scene. For example, we are struggling with the timing of our usage of jump cuts. However I am confident that when the usage of jump cuts comes to fruition, the final product will look much more appealing.
Other editing problems include the ordering of our clips. We initially had a plan as to how the scene would be structured, but after viewing the scene in different order, there are several methods as to how to make our clip more attractive.

Update
In recent months our group has found it difficult to progress due to the problems the school has been having with the computer system. As a result of this, our editing schedule has been severely restricted and as a result of the computer systems now being back up and running, we intend to complete our editing tomorrow as we have been given extra time to complete.
In terms of filming, we have completed what has needed to be done but we intend to include a scene that we have spoken about in recent times as a group and we intend to film this scene at a convenient time tomorrow.
The scene does involve going to a previous setting, the alleyway mentioned before. This is because we feel further characterization can be potentially done in this opening sequence, and we are most likely to be able to enhance our protagonists characteristics through this section of the scene.

Title Sequence Analysis
In preparation for the development for our opening sequence. The group have produced several potential title sequences for potential usage within the opening sequence.
The first title sequence produced we were not particularly impressed with the final product. This is due to the lack of dangerous connotations associated with the background or the font of the text. However, after producing this we felt more comfortable with the tools on live type, and we willing to produce more which suited our opening sequence more.
The second title sequence however, we felt a lot more positive about and that we may potentially not be fair from a final product. This is due to the fact that the font can be associated with the spy genre well, with the font often being related to smart gadgets, which are often associated with conventions of a spy genre film.
The third title sequence, the one which we have gone with for potential usage within our opening sequence we felt established the film very well, as it is very simple in terms of its colour scheme, yet it represents several conventions of a spy film well. This lures in the audience who are fans of the spy genre as they recognize the effect in a positive manner.
