Editing

Our group have recently been able to continue editing our opening sequence, and we hope to have it completed within this week. There are a couple of scenes in which we feel may need to be added after viewing the clips we actually have filmed.

The motives we initially intended to implement of a sense of a depressing atmosphere in order to give a sense of characterization, have been fairly successful and our choice of music seems fairly suitable. Our final choice of music will be posted on here later on.

As you can see from the images, we have been using the final cut express software in order to add editing touches to the opening sequence.

We are currently finding certain things difficult which we feel could add good effect to the scene. For example, we are struggling with the timing of our usage of jump cuts. However I am confident that when the usage of jump cuts comes to fruition, the final product will look much more appealing. 

Other editing problems include the ordering of our clips. We initially had a plan as to how the scene would be structured, but after viewing the scene in different order, there are several methods as to how to make our clip more attractive.
